Why these two things are one company
Read the two product homepages next to each other and they make the same argument from opposite directions. Unfiltered Choice says most "best business bank" content online is advertising in disguise. Claudphic Ads says Google never finds out which leads became customers, so it keeps hunting for more form-fillers. One is a complaint about the signal a buyer receives; the other is a complaint about the signal a seller receives. They are the same complaint.
Claudphic did not invent a synergy story to justify a holding company. The products existed first and the connection was noticed afterwards, which is generally the more trustworthy sequence.
Unfiltered Choice — for the person deciding
Market: United States. Category: business finance — business banking, payments and payroll. Model: affiliate commissions, with directly sold advertiser placements planned and labelled as advertising.
Unfiltered Choice is an independent comparison publication. Products are scored against a rubric that is published on the site, and the score is produced before any commercial conversation is had about that product. Providers with no affiliate relationship are included and can — and do — rank above providers that pay.
The promise it makes is narrow and checkable: rankings are never for sale. Not for a higher commission, not for a flat placement fee, not for a "featured partner" badge with different rules behind it. Where money is earned, it is disclosed. Where a methodology exists, it is published so a reader can disagree with it specifically rather than distrusting it generally.
US small-business finance is one of the most heavily monetised content categories on the internet. That is exactly why an independent scoring rubric is valuable there: the incentive to corrupt rankings is enormous, so the value of a publication that refuses is enormous too. It also means competing with very large, very well-resourced incumbents on one of the hardest search categories that exists. We would rather state that plainly than pretend otherwise.
What Unfiltered Choice does not do is equally definitional. It does not accept payment for position. It does not publish a review it would be embarrassed to show the provider. It does not cover categories where Claudphic has a commercial interest — which is why, if a business-software vertical ever ships a CRM or attribution comparison, Claudphic Ads is excluded from it by written policy. That rule is set out in full on our independence policy.
Claudphic Ads — for the company measuring
Market: India. Category: lead CRM with advertising attribution and offline conversion upload. Model: monthly subscription, ₹999 to ₹4,999.
Here is the problem it solves, stated the way a business actually experiences it. You spend money on Google Ads. Fifty people fill in your form. Your sales team calls them, and three of them buy. Google sees fifty conversions, because a form submission is the last thing it can observe. It concludes — reasonably, given what it was told — that it should find more people like those fifty. But the fifty are not the customers. The three are. So the algorithm optimises toward form-fillers, your cost per actual customer rises quietly every month, and nothing in your ads dashboard tells you this is happening.
Claudphic Ads closes that loop. Leads arrive into a CRM with their advertising source attached. As your team works them, real outcomes get recorded — qualified, quoted, won, lost. Those outcomes are then uploaded back to Google Ads and Meta as offline conversions, so the platforms learn which clicks produced revenue rather than which clicks produced form submissions.
| Capability | What it changes |
|---|---|
| Lead capture with source attached | Every lead carries the campaign, ad group and click that created it |
| Pipeline and outcome tracking | The team records what actually happened, which is the data no ad platform has |
| Offline conversion upload — Google Ads | Bidding optimises toward customers rather than form submissions |
| Meta Conversions API | The same correction applied to Meta's optimisation signal |
| Cost per real customer | The number that was previously unknowable becomes a reported figure |
The reason this matters more in India than almost anywhere else is structural, and we have written about it at length on our working in India page. In short: a very large share of Indian advertising is lead generation, a very large share of that conversion completes on a phone call or a WhatsApp thread that no platform can observe, and the businesses affected are precisely the ones that cannot justify enterprise attribution tooling.
How the two are kept apart
Owning an independent comparison publication and an advertising-technology product at the same time is a real structural tension, and pretending otherwise would be the fastest way to lose the argument. So the rules are written down and published rather than assumed.
- Claudphic Ads never advertises on Unfiltered Choice. Not a banner, not a mention, not a recommended-tool slot. Permanently.
- Unfiltered Choice never ranks a category Claudphic Ads competes in. If such a comparison launches, Claudphic Ads is excluded by policy and the exclusion is stated on the page itself.
- Separate channels and separate operations for the media property, so an editorial decision never travels through a commercial conversation.
- A published conflicts-of-interest policy that names Claudphic Ads specifically, along with how to report a suspected conflict and how corrections are handled.
This turns the obvious criticism into the most trustworthy page either site owns. The full text lives on the independence page.
What we deliberately have not built
No client services. No white-label builds. No agency retainers. No paid placement products for the media property. These are not gaps waiting to be filled — they are refusals, and each one is a refusal of revenue that would be available immediately. The reasoning is set out on the services page, which is unusual in that most of it describes what we decline.
We also have not invented numbers. There is no "trusted by 10,000 businesses" anywhere on any Claudphic property. Claudphic Ads is a new product and its illustrative testimonials are labelled as illustrative, because a company whose entire argument is about honest signals cannot fake its own.
Both products, at a glance
- Unfiltered Choice is an independent comparison publication for United States business finance — business banking, payments and payroll — scored against a published rubric. Rankings are never sold.
- Claudphic Ads is a lead CRM with advertising attribution and offline conversion upload for Google Ads and Meta, sold in India at ₹999 to ₹4,999 per month.
- Claudphic Ads uploads real sales outcomes back to ad platforms so bidding optimises toward paying customers rather than form submissions.
- Claudphic Ads never advertises on Unfiltered Choice, and Unfiltered Choice never ranks a category in which Claudphic Ads competes.
- Both products are designed, built and operated in-house by Claudphic's founder.
