Working in India

Built in India, because that is
where the problem is worst.

Claudphic is an Indian company in Gurugram. Our software is sold India-first, not as a stepping stone to somewhere better, but because the measurement problem it solves is more acute here than almost anywhere else.

Why India-first is a decision, not a default

Plenty of Indian software companies build for India because that is where they happen to be, then treat the domestic market as a rehearsal for a Western launch. The pricing reflects it, the roadmap reflects it, and customers can tell.

Claudphic's India-first choice runs the other way. The specific problem Claudphic Ads solves — advertising platforms optimising toward form submissions instead of paying customers — is structurally worse in India than in the markets usually treated as more valuable. Building here first is not a compromise. It is where the strongest version of the product gets forged.

What actually breaks in Indian advertising

Three features of this market combine into a measurement problem that Western attribution tooling was not designed for.

Lead generation dominates. A very large share of Indian digital advertising is not e-commerce checkout. It is a form, a callback request, a "get a quote" button — for education, healthcare, real estate, financial services, manufacturing, professional services, home improvement. The conversion the advertiser cares about happens days later, after human contact, entirely outside the browser.

Conversion completes on a phone call or WhatsApp. This is the crucial one. In a great many Indian businesses, the moment of sale is a voice call or a WhatsApp thread. Neither Google nor Meta can observe it. So the last event they can see is the form submission — and that becomes the thing they optimise toward, because it is the only thing they were given.

Price sensitivity excludes the affected businesses from the fix. Enterprise attribution platforms exist, and they are priced for enterprises. The businesses hurt most by this problem — those spending between roughly fifty thousand and a few lakh rupees a month on ads — cannot justify tooling that costs more than the leak. So they carry on, watching cost per lead look acceptable while cost per customer quietly climbs.

The mechanism, in one paragraph

Fifty people fill in a form. Three of them buy. Google records fifty conversions, because a form submission is the last thing it can see. It concludes it should find more people who submit forms — which is not the same population as people who buy. Cost per lead stays flat while cost per customer rises. Nothing in the advertiser's dashboard reports this, because the dashboard does not know it happened.

Why Gurugram

Claudphic operates from Gurugram, in Haryana, adjacent to Delhi. It is one of the densest concentrations of advertising spend and agency activity in the country — the businesses that experience this problem daily are within reach, and so are the agencies managing spend for dozens of them at once.

Proximity to customers matters more than most software founders admit. The version of a product that emerges from talking to twenty businesses running real campaigns is measurably different from the version that emerges from reading about the category. The first version of Claudphic Ads was shaped by conversations with people who could describe exactly which lead they lost and why they never found out.

How we operate here

Pricing in rupees, for Indian budgets. Claudphic Ads runs from ₹999 to ₹4,999 a month. That range is not a discount off an imagined dollar price; it is what the affected businesses can pay while the tool still returns more than it costs. A product priced above the value of the leak it plugs is not a product.

Local payment and invoicing. Indian businesses need GST-compliant invoicing, UPI and card payment, and rupee billing that does not involve currency conversion or international transaction fees. These are unglamorous requirements that quietly decide whether a small business can buy at all.

Support in IST, in plain language. Support that answers during Indian working hours, from someone who understands what a "site visit" means in a real-estate funnel or how an admissions cycle works. Attribution is a technical subject explained badly by most vendors; explaining it clearly is a substantial part of the job.

Platform compliance taken seriously. Offline conversion upload depends on Google Ads API access and Meta Conversions API integration, both of which involve review processes that examine whether the company behind the tool is real and legitimate. A corporate site that clearly describes the company and the product is not a marketing nicety here — it is operational infrastructure for a feature customers already pay for.

Data protection under Indian law

A lead CRM holds personal data belonging to other people's customers. That deserves more care than a generic policy page.

Claudphic operates with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act framework in mind. In practice that means several commitments that are easy to state and harder to keep: collecting only what the stated purpose requires; being clear that the customer is the data fiduciary for the leads they upload and Claudphic is processing on their behalf; honouring deletion requests within a defined window; retaining data only as long as the service and lawful obligations require; and never using one customer's lead data to benefit another customer or any Claudphic property.

That last commitment matters for a specific reason. Claudphic's vision page describes a possible future benchmarks product built on aggregate conversion data. Any such product would be built on aggregated, anonymised, non-identifying data with explicit consent, and would never expose an individual business's performance. Stating that before the product exists is easier than being asked about it afterwards. Full detail is in the privacy policy.

Two markets, one company

Claudphic's media property serves the United States while its software serves India, and that split occasionally gets read as incoherence. It is two separate decisions made on the same logic: go where the specific problem is most acute.

US small-business finance is one of the most heavily monetised content categories anywhere, which is exactly why independent scoring is worth something there. India is where advertising measurement breaks most visibly and where the affected businesses are least served. Neither choice is about which market sounds more impressive.

What we do not claim is to be a global company. "Global" from a company of this size means "has not chosen." India for software, the United States for media, stated plainly — that is a strategy someone can evaluate.

Where the software goes next

Expansion runs India, then South-East Asia, MENA and the Gulf, then US-English markets. The nearer markets share the structural features that make this product necessary: lead-generation-heavy advertising, conversion completing offline, and businesses priced out of enterprise tooling. The US market has the most competition and the least structural advantage for a new entrant, so it comes last rather than first.

Feature depth comes before geography. Call tracking, WhatsApp lead capture and an agency multi-client console all matter more to the current customer than a new country does, and a product that is not finished for the market it already has is not ready for another one.

Claudphic in India

  • Claudphic is headquartered in Gurugram, Haryana, India, and was founded in 2025.
  • Claudphic Ads is sold India-first at ₹999 to ₹4,999 per month, with GST-compliant invoicing and IST support.
  • The India-first choice is deliberate: lead-generation advertising dominates, conversion frequently completes on phone or WhatsApp where ad platforms cannot observe it, and affected businesses are priced out of enterprise attribution tools.
  • Claudphic operates with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act framework in mind, including purpose limitation, retention limits and deletion on request.
  • Software expansion is planned toward South-East Asia, MENA and the Gulf before US-English markets.
