This website sets no advertising cookies, runs no third-party trackers and does not build a profile of you. It stores anonymous server logs for security, and it keeps correspondence you send us for as long as the matter it concerns is live. That is the whole of it. Everything below is the detail.
1. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to claudphic.com, the corporate website of Claudphic, a company based in Gurugram, Haryana, India.
It does not cover our two products, which handle different data for different purposes and publish their own policies:
- Unfiltered Choice — the comparison publication, which has its own privacy policy governing reader data and affiliate click handling.
- Claudphic Ads — the lead CRM and attribution product, which processes personal data belonging to its customers' leads under a separate policy and processing agreement.
If you are a customer of Claudphic Ads, the policy that governs your leads' data is that product's policy, not this one. Section 8 explains the distinction, because it matters legally.
2. What this website collects
Information you give us deliberately
If you write to us — by email, phone, or any other channel listed on the contact page — we receive whatever you choose to include. Typically that is your name, your contact details, the organisation you represent, and the substance of your enquiry. We do not require any of it beyond what is needed to answer you.
Information collected automatically
Our web server records standard request logs: IP address, timestamp, requested URL, HTTP status, referring page and browser user-agent string. This is the ordinary operation of a web server and is used for security, abuse prevention and diagnosing faults. These logs are not used to build a profile of you and are not linked to any identity.
What we deliberately do not collect
- No advertising or retargeting cookies of any kind.
- No third-party analytics that track individuals across sites.
- No social media pixels, embedded trackers or session-recording tools.
- No fingerprinting, cross-device linking or data-broker enrichment.
- No purchase of contact data from third parties, ever.
This is unusual enough to be worth stating plainly: a company whose products are about honest signals should not be quietly harvesting the people reading about it.
3. Why we process it, and on what basis

4. How long we keep it
Correspondence is retained while the matter it concerns is live, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case it resurfaces — ordinarily no more than twenty-four months. Job applications are kept for twelve months so we can contact you when a relevant role opens, and are deleted sooner on request. Server logs are rotated on a short cycle, ordinarily within ninety days, except where a specific security incident requires a record to be preserved.
Where a legal or accounting obligation requires longer retention of a particular record, that obligation governs. We do not retain anything "just in case" beyond these periods.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We do not share it for advertising. We do not trade it, rent it or enrich it against third-party datasets.
A small number of service providers necessarily process data on our behalf in order for the site and our email to function — a web host, an email provider, and the domain infrastructure that sits between them. These providers act on our instructions and cannot use the data for their own purposes.
We would disclose data if compelled by a valid legal order. If that ever happens and we are legally permitted to tell you, we will.
6. Cookies and browser storage
This website sets no advertising, analytics or profiling cookies. Where a strictly necessary cookie is used — for example, to maintain a session or a security token — it is functional, short-lived and carries no tracking identifier. Full detail is in the cookie policy.
Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers and Google receives your IP address as part of that ordinary request. We do not receive or store anything from that exchange. If you would prefer to avoid it entirely, a browser extension that blocks third-party font loading will do so without breaking the site.
7. Your rights
Whether you are in India, the European Union, the United Kingdom or elsewhere, we apply the same set of rights rather than tiering them by geography. You may:
- Ask what we hold about you and receive a copy.
- Ask us to correct it if it is wrong or incomplete.
- Ask us to delete it, and we will unless a legal obligation requires otherwise.
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Withdraw consent at any time where consent was the basis.
- Complain to a supervisory authority — in India, the Data Protection Board established under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act; in the EU or UK, your national data protection authority.
To exercise any of these, write to us through the contact page. We acknowledge within two working days and complete the request within thirty days, usually much sooner. We will not charge you for it and will not make it deliberately difficult.
8. Indian data protection, and the fiduciary distinction
Claudphic operates with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act framework in mind: collecting only what a stated purpose requires, keeping it only as long as that purpose lives, securing it appropriately and deleting it on valid request.
One distinction matters more than the rest, particularly for Claudphic Ads customers. When a business uses Claudphic Ads, that business is the data fiduciary for the leads it uploads — it determines why and how that data is processed. Claudphic acts as a processor on the business's behalf, under its instructions. We do not use one customer's lead data for another customer's benefit, for any Claudphic property, or for any purpose the customer has not instructed.
Our vision page describes a possible future product built on aggregate conversion benchmarks. To be unambiguous ahead of time: any such product would use aggregated, anonymised, non-identifying data with explicit customer consent, and would never expose an individual business's performance or any individual's personal data.
9. International transfers
Claudphic operates from India and serves readers in the United States. Some infrastructure providers store or process data outside India in the ordinary course of providing hosting and email. Where that happens, we use providers that offer appropriate contractual safeguards, and we keep the categories of data involved deliberately minimal.
10. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Access to correspondence and any internal system is limited to the founder. We apply standard security headers, keep dependencies updated, and store no payment card details on this website — the parent site takes no payments.
No system is perfectly secure, and any policy that claims otherwise is not being honest with you. If you discover a vulnerability, please report it through the contact page. Good-faith security research is welcomed and will never be met with legal threats.
11. Children
This website is intended for business audiences and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under eighteen. If you believe we have, tell us and it will be deleted.
12. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, the effective date at the top changes and the nature of the change is described rather than silently applied. This version is effective from 8 August 2026.
13. Contacting us about privacy
Privacy questions, access requests, deletion requests and complaints all go through the same channel as everything else — the contact page. They are read by the founder, not routed to a queue.
